The Weather Channel, Day Planner Program  
  Show Tune-In + Program Identity
These are stills frames of the Show Tune-In graphics for
The Weather Channel's Day Planner program.

I designed the Day Planner logo + identity that is carried throughout the program. Day Planner aired weekdays
from 9am–12 noon.
 
     
  Two Box frame
These are stills frames of the Two Box and Phoner
graphics for The Weather Channel's Day Planner
program. The "Two Box" is displayed to view the
exchange of information being discussed between
two newscasters located in different areas.
Phoner frame
Above is a still frame of the phoner frame, where an image
of the source is displayed visually as the infomration is being delivered orally as a voiceover. The information is usually
being delivered from various areas.
     
     
  Teaser Graphics
The image on the left is a still frame of the Teaser,
which displays a glimpse of what is to come next
on the program.
Scenic Graphics
The image on the right is the Scenic frame displayed in
the studio as environmental graphics during broadcast.
     
     
  Info frame
The image on the left is a still frame of the Information
frame, displaying detailed information of the current
conditions. The motion graphics follow same treatment
as throughout the program.
Lower-Third Graphics
The frame on the right displays the lower-third graphics, giving
the viewer more information about what is shown on the Live
video feed.
     
     
  Show Open frames
The image on the left is a still frame of the Show Open,
A short sequence introducing the DayPlanner program,
which depicts the news/look and feel of the daily program.

  Above is the color palette utilized for all the graphics in the
Day Planner program on the Weather Channel. Day Planner's showtime was weekdays from 9am -12 noon. Chose a warm color palette to bring a positive way to start your day.
